"The Room Has Eyes" is a photographic series centered around mental health. This series shares the story of what went on within my bedroom walls and the secrets that the walls held.

 

In High School, I struggled with severe depression, but it went unnoticed by those around me. By the time I reached college, I was doing better. However, COVID struck and forced students to revert to where they came from, thus, sending me back to the confines of my room.

 

This project was completed for a photography course I enrolled in at Bradley University. I used a camera, textbooks, a chair, a mirror, and Adobe Photoshop to capture these images.
